PHLP is pleased to welcome attorney Asha Ramachandran to our staff. Ms. Ramachandran joins PHLP’s Philadelphia office as the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Program Manager for a federal grant PHLP recently received. Ms. Ramachandran will lead PHLP’s efforts to provide victims of crime, especially survivors of violent crime (e.g. shootings, drunk driving collisions), legal services to secure health care. Ms. Ramachandran has previously worked as a Deputy Managing Attorney of Public Benefits at the AIDS Law Project of Pennsylvania, and in private practice specializing in Social Security Disability and Immigration law.
