Beacon Health Options is now Carelon Behavioral Health

As of May 1st, Beacon Health Options is now Carelon Behavioral Health. Carelon is the Medicaid Behavioral Health Managed Care Organization (MCO) for western Pennsylvania. Despite the change in name, nothing will change for the participants. All benefits will remain the same and there will be no change of in-network providers. In addition, there will not be any change in the way participants access their services. As Medicaid recipients do not get a card for their behavioral health plan, no new cards will be sent.
