The 2024 federal poverty income guidelines were published in the Federal Register on January 17, 2024. These poverty guidelines are used to set income limits for health programs such as Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and Medicare Part D Extra Help. The new guidelines will go into effect in March for most Medicaid programs.
